Terms & conditions
Last updated: 31 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and VoiceBill ("we", "us") for using the VoiceBill Android app, the website voicebill.in and the cloud copy (together, "VoiceBill"). By using VoiceBill you agree to them.
1. Who can use VoiceBill
VoiceBill is for shops and businesses in India. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract under Indian law. If you use VoiceBill for a shop, you confirm that you are allowed to act for that shop.
2. Your account
- The app works on the phone without an account. The cloud copy needs a Google sign-in; each Google account holds one shop.
- You are responsible for the phones and Google account you sign in with. If a phone is lost, use Sign out on all phones in Settings and tell us.
3. Plans and payment
- New users get a 14-day free trial. After it, using VoiceBill needs a paid plan, as shown on the Pricing page.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. A plan renews at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- If we change prices, we will tell you at least 30 days before; the new price applies from your next renewal.
- Cancellation and refunds are covered by the Cancellation & refund policy.
4. Your shop's data
- Your products, bills, khata, customers and other records belong to you. We use them only to run VoiceBill for you, as described in the Privacy policy.
- You are responsible for the details you enter about your customers and for having their permission to keep them.
- Keep backups: the app can make a backup file at any time. We take care to keep the cloud copy safe, but we can't promise that data will never be lost.
5. Bills, prices and taxes
VoiceBill helps you make bills; it doesn't give tax, accounting or legal advice. You are responsible for checking the items, prices, quantities, discounts and taxes on every bill before you give it to a customer, and for following the GST, drug-licence and other rules that apply to your shop. Voice and photo recognition can make mistakes, so always check the bill.
6. Fair use
Don't use VoiceBill for anything illegal, to cheat customers, to send spam, or to harm VoiceBill or other users (for example by trying to break into the service or overload it). We may suspend an account that does, after telling you why where we can.
7. Availability and changes
Billing works on the phone even without internet. The cloud copy and website may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We keep improving VoiceBill and may change or remove features; if a change takes away something important you paid for, you can cancel and ask for a refund of the unused part.
8. Limits of our liability
VoiceBill is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other law.
9. Ending
You can stop using VoiceBill and cancel your plan at any time, and ask us to delete your cloud copy (see the Privacy policy). We may end the service for an account that breaks these terms. Your records on your phone stay with you.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first; most problems are solved quickly that way (see Contact for our Grievance Officer). Any dispute that can't be settled is subject to the courts of West Bengal, India.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, the new version will be on this page with a new date, and important changes will be shown in the app.
